General Information
1. This Role-play is set on the plot from the Elder Scrolls Online game. Please no references to events that haven't happened yet.
2. The maximum amount of threads you may participate in at one time with each character is FIVE. This is to ensure other players are not left behind.
3. Liquid time is observed here; meaning you can be in two different places at once.
4. Try to stay true to lore as much as possible. If not sure about something, ask another member or a mod.
5. You may NOT create new legends. We run strictly off of ESO legends only. It is a delicate balance, and we don't want to throw off that balance.
6. Guests MUST NOT sign up for accounts with Canon Characters! This will result in AUTOMATIC rejection and deletion of accounts. We have no canon characters.
7. We are ONLY accepting Character requests at this time for Khajiit, Bosmer, Dunmer, Altmer, Orismer, Nords, Redguards, Bretons, and Argonians. No Snow elves or Dwemer here.
8. Not everyone can be a War General, a Chief, or a princess, and most/all applications we see like these will be rejected until fixed. If a "General", "Chief", or "Noble" comes with a great backstory, as well as an explanation to why people shouldn't recognize them on sight, we will consider it.
9. NO CROSS-BREEDS PLEASE! While it is known that some cross-breeding can happen in Tamriel, it is highly unusual, and VERY unlikely, especially in this time of dissension between the different Factions.
10. Make a character profile, and get it approved before you post in the In-Character areas. This is to benefit everyone, and to weed out the "Dunmer-Khajiit Crossbreed Princess of Grahtwood" type creations, and other such nonsense. Don't worry, I'm not nitpicking, just getting rid of the really "out there" stuff. We encourage diverse characters, so be creative, just stay within ESO boundaries.
Please follow these rules while interacting with other players.
1. Do not overuse harsh profanities. They are occasionally fine, but every other word shouldn't be explicit, please.
2. Do not have Out Of Character arguments on the board. If you have any problems, please inform the mods, or admin.
3. Don't use net-speak. It's really annoying, and people just don't like it.
4. Have a great time.
Please follow these rules when posting on the boards.
1. Use proper grammar. Nothing is uglier than bad grammar. Please use spell-check if you are unsure of spelling.
2. Don't make posts that are too short. The guideline for this is at least two paragraphs.
3. Make sure you put a lot of flesh into your writing; like describing things around you such as the environment.
4. Do NOT power-play other characters. You cannot make another player's character do any kind of action. Power-playing will result in a warning, then a penalty.
5. Please, no NC-17 posts.
6. Please put the full name of your character as your display name after you've been approved, if it is not done for you. You can change this via the 'Profile' tab.
Writing Style:
1. Everything is to be written in third person. If you do not do so, you will be reminded(nagged) until you do.
2. Please don't type your entries using net-speak. Net-speak is okay for Out Of Character, but it doesn't belong in roleplaying.
3. Follow the current plot as much as you can. When in doubt, ask, or use Google.
4. Interaction is a key part of roleplaying. Make sure you base your posts on large amounts of character interaction. If you do not speak/interact with another character, it is likely that they will not want to do the same to you and you'll be stuck roleplaying with yourself.
5. If you would like a place for inner monologue, please keep it to the Journals board. Make only one Journal for your character, and don't reply in other people's Journals.
6. Posts mustn't be shorter than two paragraphs at a MINIMUM. Please also remember that you cannot assume another character's thoughts because you cannot read minds.
7. Please try and make posts consist of writing other than just dialogue. If need be, post what your character is thinking. Posts consisting of only dialogue quickly turn into something resembling instant messenger...
The password for the Character application area is "ruby throne"
Regarding Multiple Characters/Accounts:
1. There is no limit to the amount of characters you may have, just use your common sense, and don't bite off more than you can chew...
2. You need to make a new account for each new character. it makes it easier to keep track of what character you're roleplaying with if the account has that character as an avater, and that character's name.
Signatures/Avatars:
1. No pornography or nudity.
2. No offensive material.
3. Preferably only ESO-related fodder.
Just have fun guys!!
